Sonshine Studios is Wigan's most established photography studio.

We are a Husband and Wife team (Craig and Alison) and we take pride in creating beautiful images - images to give you great pleasure when displayed in your home.

To date we are the longest established studio in Wigan. Our story has been told within leading photographic journals and news press including a series on Channel 4 Television.

The business was established in 1982. Four years saw us outgrow our original premises and our first shop at Ormskirk Road, Pemberton was purchased. Our success continued at such a rate that we extended into the adjacent property creating a purpose built studio in 1991.

The year 2000 saw the introduction of our purpose built environmental lakeside studio complete with numerous scenic backdrops in order to bring our Portraiture and Wedding coverages to the forefront of lifestyle photography.

2003 saw major investments in digital equipment and software to compliment our traditional values.

In 2004 we opened our cutting edge “Portraits by Design” Consultancy. Which has developed a collection of innovative and stylish set of images unique to each individual client’s requirements.

In 2011 we completed further refurbishment of our premises showcasing new ideas on portrait design and wedding albums.  We are looking forward to successful years ahead.
